TAKING SCREENSHOTS ON YOUR WINDOWS COMPUTER.
Ever wondered how you can take a screenshot from your computer? Is it the first time you have of that name before? Dont worry, in this article, i will show how to actually do it in very simple steps.
What is a Screenshot?
In a very simple explanation, a screenshot is sort of taking a picture of your screen. This can be very important when you want to share a sonething on your computer screen with soneone. Instead of taking out you phone abd then taking a picture, you can just take then screen shot and share it.
Windows 7, 8 and 10 machines can take screenshots automatically simply by using the keyboard shortcuts, these are, the control button(Ctrl) + the Printscreen button(PrtScn). You could also utilize other methods such as the Snipping Tool to take custom made screenshots. In today's tutorials i will show you how to use the Ctrl + PrtScn keys to take screenshots of you pc screen.:
IN WINDOWS 7
- Choose the window you want to take a screen of. It may be the control panel for example, Then press Ctrl + PrtScn buttons on your keyboard. The control button is on the bottom left of your screen while the printscreen is on the top right, the forth last button on your top right side of your keyboard.
- Now go to your start menu by pressing the windows key. You can also use your cursor a d click on the bottom left icon pn your screen to access the start menu. Search for Paint tool.

- When the tool opens up. Right click on your mouse, and click on paste to paste the screenshot. You can also use Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot. You can now crop you screenshot image to you liking using the paint tool.
- The only remaining last steps is to save the file to your destination folder.
- You can now get your screenshot and share it. All done.
