Now that you know what WhatsApp is, lets me take you through how you can get it into your devices and start messaging. For this tutorial, i will only show you how to install it on an android device and an Iphone.
How To Install Whatsapp on your Android Device.
- Go top you apps menu, and access google playstore.
- Sign in to your playstore using your email.
- Click on the search console, and type "WhatApp" to search for it in the playstore.
- Click search.
- You will see the install butoon, click on it to install WhatsApp on your phone. This button is located on your top right hand side.
- Installing WhatsApp on your phone will take some few minute, depending on the speed of yoor internet connection.
- After the installation is completed, click on the open button to open the WhatsApp application.
- Tap Agree and Continue button which is located on the bottom to procede to the next step.
- Type in you phone number so that you can receive a code . This should be the number you want to use for your WhatsApp meseanger.
- You will receive a prompt telling you that they will be verifying the number you entered. If you entered a wrong numer, click on edit to change it. If the number is correct, click on ok to proceed.
- You will receive a message from WhatApp containing your verification code. Type this code and you will be redirected to where you can set up your account.
- Enter your name and upload a profile picture. These twoo will be public to someone who checks out your profile.
- If you have installed this messanger before, you will be asked if you want to restore you chat history, if you want to receive you previous chat history, click on restore, if not, you can skip.
- Click on next, and start using WhatsApp to connect with your friends.
How to Install WhatsApp on an Iphone.
- From your Iphone Apps menu, click on App store.
- Tap on the search icon, which looks like a amgnifying glass,, and search for WhatsApp, the click on "go", or "seach" button.
- On the search results, click on WhatsApp, the to the right, you will see a "Get" option, click on it.
- If you had not signed into to your apples account previously, you will be prompted to do so before the installation begins.
- After the installation process has began, tap on "Open" to open the application.
- You will get a window that may ask you to grant Additional permission to WhatApp, click allow on all of them.
- On the next window, tap on "Agree and Continue".
- Enter your phone number then click on done.
- Tap yes when propted.
- WhatsApp will send you a verification code, enter it and tap on finish to continue.
- You can now add your name and upload a profile picture of your choice then done.
- Click on done.
- You can now start messaging your friends.
